“And the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
and all people will see it together.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 40:5

The signs were clear from the beginning. That there was major resistance.
From the preliminary revival meetings to prepare the ground for invasion, to the larger gathering of gatekeepers, Bishops, Pastors and religious leaders called Vision Casting, held to share the message of revival from the vision bearer Bishop Aloysius Kiiza, a groundswell of expectation was rising.

As Bishop Aloysius Kiiza says “when a people rise up and pray for their regions and take responsibility for their city the prosperity of the city becomes the prosperity of those praying and taking charge for their regions. If judgement or a curse take over a land and the church is sleeping, they partake of the curse”.
The Glory Invasion – which is the glory of God invading every village, town and city of a region and overthrowing the powers that govern the territories and manifesting the Kingdom of God – had already made landfall in the Kigezi region with the first regional conference, the Kanungu Glory Invasion laying waste to the deep occultism and witchcraft prevalent in the region and raising men and women who are called in this generation to pursue Gods agenda in this season.

In the Kigezi region, Bishop Aloysius Kiiza had been called to re – dig the wells of revival and he obeyed that call through convening the Annual World Revival Conference for 25 years straight in Kabale Stadium. After celebrating the silver jubilee God renewed His call to him, instructing him to spread this revival in the regions to impact those unable to reach Kabale.
Now the army was changing direction, heading to Ankole region, targeting the headquarters, Mbarara the largest city in western Uganda ruled by an ancient spirit that has held people captive and in spiritual bondage.
The Chwezi or Bachwezi are believed to be the founders of the ancient empire of Kitara which included areas of Uganda, northern Tanzania, western Kenya and Eastern DR Congo and were therefore accorded the status of demi – gods and worshipped by people.
On the 1st day of the conference the tents were erected, the people gathered in great numbers and the man, sent by God with a message of revival arrived. Immediately, after worshipping God, however, there was a moment. Pastor Margaret Kiiza described it best when she noted that his words were bouncing back to him.

But in his characteristic bold and aggressive manner Bishop Aloysius Kiiza led the entire congregation out of the tent of meeting and onto the grounds for a bold and defiant symbolic act to declare that Ankole was Gods and Gods alone!
The moment of confrontation had come. Already a woman in the congregation had begun convulsing, manifesting the chwezi spirits. Undeterred, Bishop Aloysius Kiiza made a powerful prophetic and apostolic prayer and something split in the heavens and from that moment on Ankole opened up!

Here came a people with a mandate to overthrow territorial powers and liberate regions from satanic and demonic powers that control and cause the bondage and enslavement of the people of the area.
Poverty, immorality – the spirit of Jezebel, religion, witchcraft and occultism, divisions among denominations, are the strongman being confronted and brought down in the various regions. to bring Uganda and the nations to revival and transformation.

History as they say repeats itself. Kabale in the 1930’s was the epi – center of the great East African Revival and now God is moving powerfully among His people, re – digging the wells of revival. According to Bishop Aloysius Kiiza, God is doing this for several reasons.
- to redeem the redemptive destinies and purposes of God in the city. Every city has got a redemptive purpose and destiny in Gods plan
- to help upcoming ministers, to stir up the graces and gifting upon young men and women and help them release their mandates, commissioning them to impact the world with the gospel
- to release territories from wicked demonic entities that rule the spheres and bring them to subjection of the gospel of Jesus Christ
- to re – digging the wells of revival in those regions and lead Uganda and other nations into Revival and transformation.
- to impact the 7 mountains of influence and release people into those mountains. These determine the culture and behaviour of people
- to release a holistic transformation by influencing those communities through social, spiritualeconomic and infrastructural aspects
- to empower the church to become relevant in those local communities in order to spearhead revival and transformation
- to create a powerful network and synergy in the body of Christ sharing graces and gifts to enhance unity
- to raise and build a team and end time army for the Lord that will fulfill the World Revival Missions mandate
- to restore and rebuild an undefiled priesthood
- to bring restoration and identification of the apostolic and prophetic church resulting into total restoration and reformation
- Break free the church from the colonial, consumer and dependent mindset
